The President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has stated that the rehabilitation of the Town Hall of the Sevillian municipality of Écija represents the recovery of an important project in the artistic heritage of this Sevillian municipality.
This is a project that has received significant investment, with two-thirds provided by the Junta de Andalucía, around 5.5 million by 2027, co-financed at 80% with European funds, and will bring more dignity to an emblematic building located in one of the most important spaces in the city.
This project, which has three basic objectives to enhance what has heritage value, remove what does not, and leave a historically improved building up to the needs and category of Écija, combines the classic and the modern that will be perfectly coordinated with a renovated and spacious interior, with the best conditions for the tasks it entails, with a courtyard that will reinforce its institutional function, and with the facades that continue those created by Balbino Marrón, giving a unified image, utilizing everything so that the building enjoys an A energy rating.
The Andalusian Government has an absolute commitment to Andalusian municipalities and to the municipality of Écija, which is steadily progressing by gradually improving its infrastructure, strengthening its agricultural sector, promoting training and employment, and promoting actions that are an important update for the city.

The President of the Junta de Andalucía also visited the Town Hall where he held a meeting with its mayor, Silvia Heredia, where they discussed various topics of interest for this Sevillian municipality.
