Five men have been affected by smoke inhalation following a fire in an industrial warehouse located in the Granada town of Churriana de la Vega, as reported by 112, a service attached to the Emergency Agency of Andalusia, under the Ministry of Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue, and Administrative Simplification of the Andalusian Government. Additionally, the incident has been reported to the Labor Inspection and the Center for Occupational Risk Prevention.
The Fire Department reported the fire at 9:00 a.m. to 112 in a warehouse located on Alhama Road and requested medical services on-site for several people affected by smoke inhalation. The coordinating center activated the Emergency Health Center 061 and the Local Police.
Firefighting sources have informed that they extinguished the fire in an elevator motor inside a refrigeration chamber and ventilated the premises. Five men were attended to, with four of them requiring transfer to the Clínico San Cecilio Hospital, aged 20, 30, 34, and 46.
