The Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA) has published the call for 2025 grants, for an amount of 7,030,000 euros, under a competitive concurrence regime, for the promotion of management, technification, and performance of Andalusian sports federations (GTRD modality) registered in the Andalusian Register of Sports Entities.
The objective of this annual line of aid is to promote projects aimed at improving the management and operation of sports federations, as well as contributing to the technification of training and the increase in performance of Andalusian athletes.
The Minister of Culture and Sports, Patricia del Pozo, has highlighted that «the Andalusian Government of Juanma Moreno maintains the same investment as the previous year, seven million euros, following a significant increase of almost 23% in the period between 2019 and 2023, which demonstrates our support for Andalusian sports federations, who carry out essential work for the improvement of sports in Andalusia.»
Among the eligible concepts are the organization of activities aimed at sports categories in school age, absolute category or lower (above school age), as well as the participation of athletes, sports technical staff, judges, referees, and other necessary personnel for the proper conduct of activities in Andalusian Championships or other official competitions at the regional level in their different phases. Also eligible for incentives are the Spanish Championships or other official competitions at the national and international levels, regional concentrations of the most outstanding athletes included in the technification programs of federations, and the expenses of management and operation of these entities.
The deadline for submitting applications ends on April 8, from which the period for the resolution of grants will begin, lasting a maximum of three months.
The amount can reach 100% of the requested amount, with 50% paid after the publication of the concession resolution, and the remaining 50% in the following year (2026), once 100% of the accepted budget has been justified. The deadline for justification is three months from the end of the sports season.
