La Junta participa en la Semana de Administración Abierta con 300+ actividades

La Junta de Andalucía participates in a new edition of the Open Administration Week 2025, which takes place from May 19 to 25, with the proposal of more than 300 events, including over 200 in-person and 100 virtual events, involving ten departments, thus leading the activities to be held in all provinces of the Andalusian community.

The ‘Open Administration Week’ is a global initiative promoted by the Open Government Alliance (‘Open Global Partnership-OGP’) that aims to bring public administrations closer to citizens with the goal of reinforcing fundamental values such as transparency, accountability, citizen participation, public integrity, and collaboration.

The Ministry of Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue, and Administrative Simplification is responsible for coordinating the activities of dissemination, monitoring, and participation and impact assessment with the support of the Andalusian Digital Agency (ADA).

In this edition, most departments opt for in-person activities, especially in the form of workshops, conferences, and guided tours. As for virtual events, they focus on awareness campaigns, digital publications, webinars, and audiovisual content. The offer from the Ministry of Employment, Business, and Autonomous Work stands out for its thematic and territorial diversity, while the events of the ADA and the Ministry of University, Research, and Innovation revolve around technological and entrepreneurial initiatives.

Among the in-person activities, there is the dissemination of an easy-to-read guide on the right of access to public information through the Andalusian Public Libraries Network, a product of collaboration between the Ministries of Presidency and Culture. Additionally, cybersecurity workshops will be held through the ADA-driven Vuela Points, and open house events will take place at the Government Delegations of the eight provinces, at the headquarters of the Central Services of the Ministry of Agriculture, and at the offices of the Andalusian Employment Service. The ‘Learn to Grow Safely’ campaign, promoted by the Ministry of Employment, will also be carried out, along with an open house event at the accelerators of the ‘Andalucía Open Future’ program, coordinated by the Ministry of University. Additionally, the Civic-Tax Journeys will be organized by the Andalusian Tax Agency.

Regarding virtual activities, highlights include the ‘SAA2025’ awareness campaign led by the Ministry of Presidency, the dissemination of video pills on public transparency, the publication of new content aimed at facilitating access to information on subsidies from the Junta of Andalucía, and the campaign on heat stress prepared by the Andalusian Institute for Occupational Risk Prevention in the field of Employment. Other initiatives include the ‘Digital and Sustainable: an Open FP’ webinar by Education, an online open house event organized by the Andalusian Institute of Public Administration, the publication of new content on the website of the Andalusian Tax Agency, and a advertising campaign to promote the Andalusian Environmental Information Network (Rediam), promoted by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment.

The Ministry of Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue, and Administrative Simplification will specifically carry out 56 in-person events, with the dissemination of guides, sessions in libraries, workshops, and digital publications on transparency. The ADA will participate in 13 in-person events such as cybersecurity workshops, digital certificates, digital skills, or the ‘Código Genias’ hackathon contest. Additionally, it will be involved in seven virtual events: awareness campaigns, infographics, or publications on open data.

Lastly, the Government Delegations will hold open house events with guided tours of their institutional headquarters, and the General Directorate of Territorial Administration and Administrative Simplification will present online a dedicated space for the Strategic Plan on the Provincial Territorial Organization Model in the Administration of the Junta de Andalucía.
