The Minister of Tourism and Andalusia Exterior, Arturo Bernal, celebrated the Day of Andalusia in the Valencian Community at an event organized by the Federation of Andalusian Cultural Entities, an organization whose work he acknowledged for its role in aid and reconstruction in response to the consequences of the DANA in the Valencian region.
This was emphasized during his speech at the event, which was attended by the president of the federation, Puri Torres, the Secretary General of Andalusia Exterior, Enric Millo, and representatives from the City Council, the Provincial Council of Granada and Valencia, and the Valencian Government.
Arturo Bernal highlighted that the Andalusian footprint and roots were present at every moment of the event. «It is an honor for me to celebrate this day with you and witness the enthusiasm you bring to make this date so special. Today is a day of joy and celebration,» he emphasized.
In this sense, he referred to the support and solidarity of the Government of Andalusia and the Andalusians with the people of Valencia after that terrible DANA, «which broke all our hearts that October afternoon.» «From the very first minute, we made ourselves available to this federation and all the entities that are part of it, to help you and recover the facilities affected by the flood,» he explained.
In this context, it is -in his opinion- «very gratifying to see the work that this federation does to preserve, maintain, and transmit to the new generations the Andalusian essence that you carry in your hearts.» «You play a key role in preserving our Andalusian culture and are ambassadors of our land, strengthening the economic, social, and cultural ties between Andalusia and the rest of Spain,» he stated.
«You have contributed and continue to contribute to the progress of this sister land, such as Valencia, thanks to your talent, joy, and entrepreneurial spirit. You proudly carry the flag of being Andalusians in your daily life,» he acknowledged, congratulating all participants in the community event as a key part of the celebration of 28F.
