El Ministry of Development, territorial articulation, and housing allowed for a Parking lot to compensate for the squares eliminated during the construction of line 3 in the north of the Seville metro, passing through the neighborhood of Pino Montano. A parking lot with 280 spaces was built near a plot provided by the Municipal Council on Farmers Street, very close to the North District.
Minister of Development, Rocío Díaz, stated that with this parking lot, they aim to compensate for the inconvenience experienced by the residents of Pino Montano due to the construction of line 3 of the Seville metro. «We have created a parking lot with multiple spaces that are planned to be removed, so that the work impacts the neighborhood as little as possible,» she added.
The works carried out so far have involved the elimination of parking spaces. However, now, with the ongoing construction works, during the installation of screens, 220 spaces will be eliminated simultaneously. The solution, agreed upon by the Andalusian government and the local council, involves Using a municipal property plot between Farmers Street, Estrella Régulo, Sirio, and Estrella Proción.Due to its size (7,000 square meters) and its location in the heart of Pino Montano.

The Andalusian government has already awarded contracts for 63% of line 3 in the north, between Pino Montano and Prado de San Sebastián. The technical branch is complete, with two sections currently under construction: The section passing through Pino Montano, which is progressing with the tunnel screen installation and the construction of Pino Montano Norte station, and the section running parallel to the northern urban ring road towards San Lázaro, where service replacements and developments are ongoing.
