El centro de salud de Darro vuelve a abrir con informe favorable de calidad ambiental

DARRO (GRANADA), 29 (EUROPA PRESS)

The healthcare center in Darro (Granada), which has had to close several times in recent months due to humidity problems, has reopened its doors this Tuesday with the adequacy reports from the architecture team and a favorable environmental quality report.

This has been confirmed to Europa Press by sources from the Ministry of Health and Consumption following the last closure of the clinic last March due to new humidity issues, forcing medical attention to be transferred to the neighboring municipality of Purullena while the situation was resolved.

Several unions criticized the harm to users and workers, stating that several patients and professionals needed medical attention after staying in the facilities, with symptoms including mild respiratory problems and throat irritation.

The ownership of the building where the medical clinic is located, as well as its maintenance and conditioning, belongs to the Darro City Council, which has been working on the issue with the Regional Government and the County Council of Granada, even considering relocating medical attention to another building, although ultimately the necessary work has been done to keep it in the same place.

The initial closures were due to leaks from an upper floor of the building that was occupied by a family at that time. The persistence of the humidity led to new temporary closures to ensure the health of users and professionals.
