Actividades especiales en el Museo de Autonomía para el Día de Andalucía

The Museum of Autonomy of Andalusia has prepared a special program to commemorate Andalusia Day. It will start on Saturday, February 22 and end on the holiday on Friday, February 28. With an educational and playful approach, different activities have been organized for all audiences To reveal the history of Andalusia and the Andalusian regional process, the reference points and protagonists, the original symbols, and the figure of the father of Andalusian homeland, baby.

This special program will start on February 22 and 23 with A narrator at 12:00. For older children, these original stories feature the symbols of Andalusia, as well as relevant facts and characters. On the same Saturday, it will start and run until Thursday, February 27, theatrical visits in room 28F at 6:00 p.m. Two characters, representing the Andalusus involved in the regional process, will narrate those historical events. Reservations are required for both activities.

Andalusia Day

On February 28, Andalusia Day, the Museum of Andalusian Autonomy will open its doors uninterruptedly from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Throughout the day, Guided tours of the Blas house for babieswill be offered every 20 minutes. The property, of cultural interest, allows visitors to learn about the father of the Andalusian homeland through the rooms he designed and where he imprinted his character and thoughts. This year, Joy House incorporates an app through QR codes that will allow visitors to access extended information to delve into his life, as well as the construction and conservation details of the house.

Visitors can also enjoy the Room 28fwhich houses the original symbols or the historical womb of the votes of the referendum on February 28, 1980. Additionally, theatrical visits are planned in four sessions (12:30, 1:30, 5:00, and 6:00 p.m.). Prior reservation is required for both activities.

In parallel, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm. Workshops for childrenWith games aimed at learning the symbols of Andalusia, namely, the flag, the coat of arms, and the anthem, as well as painting and balloon activities with the colors of the Andalusian flag. At the same time, craft workshops will be set up in the hallway for children to make their own Andalusian flags and coats of arms.

Musical performances

Throughout the day, there will be different musical performances in various locations at the Museum of Autonomy. At 12:30, a musical presentation by the municipal band of Puebla del Río is scheduled in the gardens. Then at 1:00 p.m.

After -Miaza, as a final touch to the holiday, a Flamenco concert with Jeromo Al Cantte singing, Álvaro Mora on guitar, and the ‘bottle’ on Percussion. The Audiovisual Chamber will accommodate this performance at 7:00 p.m., where some flamenco songs that appear on the records in the infant Blas board will be performed.

Documents in our history

Visitors to the Museum of Autonomy can also enjoy the documentary exhibition «A journey and a flag»Installed in room 28f. Through original documents, many of them unpublished, this exhibition is dedicated to the journey made by Blasa in 1924 to Agmat, a century ago, to visit the tomb of Al-Mutamid, the last king of Taifa in Seville. On this journey, he bought the fabrics with which the first Andalusian flag was prepared.
