Refuerzo de servicios digitales con nuevas webs del SAE y Formación.

The ministers of Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue, and Administrative Simplification, Antonio Sanz; and of Employment, Business, and Self-Employment, Rocío Blanco, have presented in Malaga the new websites of the Andalusian Employment Service and Vocational Training for Employment, two resources that strengthen the catalog of digital services aimed at dynamizing the labor market in Andalusia. The event, held at the Andalusian Cybersecurity Center, was attended by the president of the Andalusian Entrepreneurs Confederation, Javier González de Lara; the general secretary of UGT-Andalusia, Óskar Martín, and the general secretary of CCOO in Malaga, Fernando Cubillo. The Mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, also spoke at the event.

Blanco highlighted that the improvements made in both cases respond to the widespread use of new technologies among citizens, stating that "Public Administrations cannot remain on the sidelines of this process." She also mentioned that during the past year, the Junta de Andalucía received 13.5 million telematic records, accounting for 88% of the total, compared to only 55% in 2019. Additionally, the access to the Citizen Folder from mobile devices has doubled to one million in the last 12 months.

Minister of Presidency, Antonio Sanz, emphasized that the new SAE website is "a new boost to our policy of digitalization of the Administration and improvement of the citizen experience in digital channels." He explained that it is a tool that, in line with the Junta de Andalucía website, will improve the accessibility, use, and efficiency of digital public services, ensuring a positive experience for users.

Sanz also highlighted the close collaboration between the Andalusian Digital Agency and the professionals of each of the Junta’s departments. He pointed out that Andalusia is a pioneer in the implementation of technologies in public services, making them accessible to both businesses and citizens.

In this context, he emphasized that Andalusia is undergoing a digital and administrative simplification revolution that is transforming the region. He stressed the goal of building a more efficient, proactive, and sustainable Administration focused on people to humanize digitalization.

A more agile and intuitive page

Blanco detailed the necessary adaptation to an increasingly digital society, recommending changes to the Andalusian Employment Service website (saempleo.es). The website improves the features of the previous one through more agile, accessible, and intuitive systems. It is divided into two areas: one for job seekers and one for companies offering jobs. In both cases, users can navigate through profiles in two ways: public (to receive information, guided through various processes) or private (logging in to access a record of all completed procedures).

One of the novelties is the management that companies can do with job offers: autonomously (100% online, publishing and then selecting the most suitable profiles from received applications) or by requesting assistance from SAE technicians, who assist the company in defining the offer, making it more attractive. Furthermore, the introduced changes allow authorizing multiple company profiles with the same tax ID, offering the possibility to operate from different locations. All these advancements are enabling the website to supply an average of 1,300 job offers daily.

The new SAE page is part of the actions aimed at advancing towards a comprehensive reform of public employment services in Andalusia, a goal set by the Ministry in 2019 to leave behind indicators such as the Agency’s intermediation in a minimum of 3% of contracts signed in the Community at that time.

The first step was the deployment of the Integrated Management Model, which has brought about a paradigm shift in mediation and guidance services, in addition to a commitment to strengthening telematic tools. Data shows that 95% of all demand renewals processed in Andalusia in 2024 were done through the App, without the need to visit offices.

This transformation has also brought about unprecedented tools such as statistical profiling, allowing predictions of future labor market behavior and adapting available information on the training and employability possibilities of each unemployed person to the job offers presented by companies.

Training

The Minister also presented the new Vocational Training for Employment website at the same event, adapted to the needs of both companies and students. It is a new tool in the redefinition process undertaken in this active employment policy after being paralyzed for a decade by previous Governments.

The new website is more accessible and intuitive than the previous one, becoming a single digital space that encompasses services previously scattered across three different platforms. Like the SAE website, it is structured into a public and a private area, with a powerful search engine providing access to all available training offers in Andalusia, both funded by the Employment Ministry and by authorized private entities. All information and other content are structured according to different access profiles: unemployed individuals, trainers, training centers, or companies.

These two new digital resources will contribute, as Blanco emphasized, to consolidating the historical milestones that are shaping the labor market in Andalusia. These include surpassing 3.5 million affiliates, getting closer to dropping below 600,000 unemployed individuals, and maintaining the top position nationally in terms of the number of self-employed workers.
